Even the people that play them understand that they are the bad guys, but as others have pointed out, there is very little in the Alliance to make them interesting.<br /><br />Wow's story is suffering from attrition because they've killed off most of their best characters/heroes/villains while failing to make their replacements nearly as illustrious. Players of Vanilla WoW, before it was destroyed by the Cataclysm xpac (worth a rant in itself), remember fighting side by side with the likes of Bolvar to oust Onyxia from Stormwind. In fact, whenever other players saw the event unfolding in the capital city, they would all toggle run mode into walk mode so that they could march in procession to the throne room to confront her, and it sometimes had dozens of people in it by the time they arrived to their destination.<br /><br />Bolvar's dialogue in Wrath Of the Lich King is modified to be more familiar with player characters that had completed the Onyxia event.
